About: "The Citizen Review Board has been formed for the following purposes to perform the following duties: A) The CRB shall review citizen complaints and departmental investigations thereof regarding the alleged use of excessive force or abuse of power by any employee of the Office of Sheriff. B) The CRB or any person to whom the CRB delegates the authority may compel the testimony of witnesses and production of evidence through the issuance of subpoenas, and the CRB may administer oaths and take testimony. C) The CRB shall issue to the Office of Sheriff its recommendations. D) Operating procedures are reported to the Board of County Commissioners in accordance with Ordinance 96-09."
